At Approximately 2:30 a.m. on Saturday April 25, there was a report of a single vehicle accident near Huntingtown High School in Hungtingtown. As the Sheriff and Fire Department searched the area, Calvert County dispatch amended the report which moved the search near the Huntingtown Elementary School.
All units then responded to that location to find a single vehicle off the road. Apparently, the vehicle lost control, struck a pole causing the vehicle to spin and move backward over a small embankment.
The single accident victim signed a release and was not transported. The individual was then tested by Calvert County Sheriff’s Department for being under the influence and was subsequently was taken into custody.
PRINCE FREDERICK – At Approximately 8:45 p.m. on Friday, April 24, there was a three vehicle accident on Route 4 South, just North of Dares Beach Road.
One patient was transported to CMH.
