PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. – On Sunday, March 24, 2024, more than 2,500 people attended Calvert County Parks and Recreation’s annual Easter Egg Hunt event at Hallowing Point Park.
The event was kicked off by the Easter Bunny who made a grand entrance by arriving in the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office special operations vehicle. Over 400 photos were taken with the Easter Bunny and more than 8,000 eggs were scattered across the fields during the four egg hunts.

Egg hunts weren’t the only events happening, however, as there were plenty of other things to do such as face painting, moon bounces, and an Easter Bunny Dance Party.

Four local food trucks and 18 local vendors also participated.
