
PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. – During the week of January 25 – January 31, deputies of the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office responded to 1,050 calls for service throughout the community.
Theft: 2021- 4996
On January 27, 2021, Deputy Evans responded to the 9900 block of H.G. Trueman Road in Lusby, MD for the report of theft from a motor vehicle. The complainant advised sometime between 8 p.m. on Jan. 23 and 10 a.m. on Jan. 27, an unknown suspect(s) entered his unlocked vehicle and stole a .22 caliber black Remington rifle and two bags with various tools. The approximate value of stolen property is $500.00.
Theft: 2021- 4997
On January 27, 2021 Deputy McDowell responded to the 100 block of West Mount Harmony Road in Owings, MD for the reported theft. The complainant advised around November 26, 2020 his Maryland Trailer Registration Plate, 269384X, was stolen from his trailer while parked in the Rod N Reel parking lot located at 4160 Mears Avenue in Chesapeake Beach, MD. The approximate value of stolen property is unknown at this time.
Theft: 2021- 5042
On January 29, 2021, Deputy Flynt responded to the Giant food store located at 655 N Solomons Island Road in Prince Frederick, MD for the reported theft. The complainant advised while making repairs inside the store, an assortment of tools inside a work bag was stolen. The total amount of stolen property is $1,000.00
Arrests:

Adams Bowman Horton, 38
On January 27, 2021, Deputy Parks conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle he observed travelling much lower than the posted speed limit. While speaking with the driver, Deputy Parks observed an open beer can in between the passenger’s legs and noticed a strong odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. A search resulted in 13 Oxycodone Pills and several baggies of Marijuana. The passenger Roderick Adams Bowman Horton, 38 of Washington D.C., was arrested and charged with CDS- Possession of Marijuana 10 GM + and CDS: Possession- Not Marijuana.

Jimez Terrell Oliver, 20 – Stacie Danette Bowie, 51 -Shabyis Dashawn Oliver, 29
On January 26, 2021, Deputy Gough responded to a residence in the 8400 block of Pine Blvd. in Lusby, MD to assist the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force and the Charles County Sheriff’s Office with an arrest warrant for a fugitive at that location. The Task Force made contact with Stacie Danette Bowie, 51, and Shabyis Dashawn Oliver, 29, both of Lusby, and advised them they were there to serve a felony arrest warrant for someone in the home. Oliver and Bowie claimed nobody else was in the home. Task Force Officers advised if anyone else was inside the residence, they would be arrested for Harboring a Fugitive. Oliver and Bowie still denied anyone else being in the residence when suddenly wanted felon Jimez Terrell Oliver, 20 of New York, fell through the ceiling from the attic where he was hiding. Jimez fled to the basement where he was later apprehended. Stacie Danette Bowie and Shabyis Dashawn Oliver were transported to the Calvert County Detention Center and were charged with Obstructing/Hindering and Harboring a Felon/Fugitive. Jimez Terrell Oliver was charged on an arrest warrant for Fugitive from Justice.
