On Dec. 21 TFC Bevard, Prince Frederick Barrack, took a report from Phillip Boyd, ofย Owings, in reference to a stolen vehicle.ย 

Boyd advised that he had listed his GMC Yukon for sale and received a call from aย man asking him about the vehicle.ย The man visited Boydโ€™s homeย and presentedย himself as James Taylor.ย He then presented Boyd with a bad cashierโ€™s check from Andrews Federal Credit Union as payment for the Yukon.

Then, on Dec. 23ย TFC Scott Bennett, Prince Frederick Barrack, took a report from Lindsey Shaner, ofย Chesapeake Beach, with regards to a stolen vehicle.ย 

Shaner had also listed his GMC Yukon for sale and was contacted by the same “James Taylor.”ย The man came toย Shanerโ€™s residence, took the vehicle for a test drive and then presented her with a cashierโ€™s check from Andrews Federal Credit Union.

The suspect is described as an African American male, 6 feet tall, weighing 220 lbs., with curly hair and gold front teeth.

Information was received from surrounding jurisdictions that Lester Aubrey Lee Jr., a subject who matches the description of the suspect in the above thefts was wanted in several counties for similar thefts.ย
