PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. – On April 13, 2021, the Board of County Commissioners proclaimed the week of April 11-17, 2021 be known as National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week in Calvert County.

Our Sheriff’s Communications Operators (SCOs) are devoted to customer service excellence and a high level of professionalism.

Calvert County Sheriff’s Office Communications Operator Chris Hengstenberg and SCO Supervisor Jessica Jones on hand to receive the proclamation.

The Calvert County Sheriff’s Office is proud of our Emergency Communications personnel and the link they provide to law enforcement, fire, rescue, and EMS for the citizens of Calvert County.
