The Chesapeake Community Chorus is a volunteer group of about thirty singers in its 8th season performing concerts for the benefit of charities in Calvert County.
Their concerts have raised over $44,000 for charities in Calvert County. The group is always interested in adding new singers to the chorus. There are no auditions required, just the love and enjoyment of singing 4-part music. The chorus meets about every two weeks to learn the music for our concerts, and concerts usually are scheduled to replace a practice time.
The next practices are January 9, 2011, 4:00-6:00 pm in the choir room, Mt. Harmony UMC, 155 E. Mt. Harmony Road, Owings, MD, come in from the back parking lot, and January 16, 2011, 4:00-6:00 pm, at Hospice House, 4559 Sixes Road, Prince Frederick, MD, come in back lower level doors.
