PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. — King Arthur and his band of bumbling knights are riding into Calvert County this weekend—complete with coconuts, killer rabbits, and musical madness—as the Children’s Theatre of Southern Maryland presents “Monty Python’s Spamalot.”
Performances will be held at the St. John Vianney Family Life Center, located at 225 Holy Family Lane in Prince Frederick.
This comedic stage adaptation, inspired by the cult classic film “Monty Python and the Holy Grail,” follows King Arthur and his squire Patsy on their laugh-filled quest for the Holy Grail. Along the way, they meet outrageous characters like the Lady of the Lake, Laker Girls, and plenty of oddball knights. The show features miscommunication, musical numbers, and a hilarious detour to Finland.

Showtimes:
Friday, June 27, at 7 p.m.
Saturday, June 28, at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m.
The performance marks the first show of CTSMD’s summer theatre camp, where youth actors rehearse, learn stagecraft, and bring a full production to life in just one week.
