Lexington Park, MD – Delegate Jerry Clark is seeking a full four-year term in the Maryland General Assembly. The Republican was appointed in 2016 by Maryland Governor Larry Hogan to fill the unexpired term of veteran lawmaker Tony Oโ€™Donnell, who was appointed to the stateโ€™s Public Service Commission. Clark represents District 29C, which includes a portion of Southern Calvert and a portion of Central St. Maryโ€™s.

For over 40 years, Clark has been a small business owner in Calvert County. The Lusby resident served as a Calvert County commissioner for 12 years. Clark was also a member of the Maryland Critical Areas Commission.

Among the legislation Clark sponsored in Annapolis last year were measures to aid Calvert County farmers in preventing crop damage by deer, a bill to enhance the Chesapeake and Atlantic Coastal Bays Trust Fund and a bond bill to help East-John Youth Center in Lusby fund swimming pool renovations.

Recently, Clark visited TheBayNet.comโ€™s offices and studio to discuss his ongoing campaign in the District 29C race. Discussion on several issues is included in the video.
