Detectives initiated an investigation into a cocaine distribution location in the Hermanville area of St. Mary’s County.
Suspect Thomas Eugene Harris Jr. AKA “Junior” was quickly determined to be the source and supply of cocaine coming from the target location.
Undercover purchases of cocaine were conducted and detectives, assisted by the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Services Teams, K-9 Unit and Vice/Narcotics Support Team members executed a search and seizure warrant. Recovered from the suspect’s home were 19 baggies of crack cocaine, an altered rifle, semi-automatic loaded handgun and more than 700 rounds of ammunition.
Suspect Harris, Jr. was arrested and additional charges are pending a review with State’s Attorney Richard D. Fritz.
