CHARLOTTE HALL, Md. – On Feb. 13, deputies from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office responded to Lighthouse Liquors located on Three Notch Road, in Charlotte Hall, for the report of an armed robbery.
Contact was made with an employee/victim who advised an unknown suspect entered the business armed with a knife, and demanded money. A brief struggle ensued between the victim and the suspect; ultimately the suspect was able to flee the business with an undisclosed amount of money. As a result of the struggle, the victim sustained injuries which required medical treatment from a local hospital.
The investigation was continued by the Criminal Investigations Division, and the suspect is described as a black male with a thin build, between the ages of 25-35 years old. At the time of the robbery the suspect was wearing a dark colored jacket, hat, and blue jeans.
