Waldorf, MD – Police in Charles County are investigating a late night incident in which a pizza delivery man was assaulted and robbed. According to Charles County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Diane Richardson, the incident occurred Monday evening, Nov. 6 at approximately 10:50 p.m. in the 4100 block of Bluebird Drive in Waldorf.
Richardson told TheBayNet.com that the house the delivery man was sent to turned out to be vacant. When he arrived at the house the delivery man was confronted by two males to struck him, stole money and took the pizza.
A further description of the robbers has not been released at this time.
