On Feb. 3, at 7:40 p.m,. Trooper First Class Dawson responded to the Lusby Shell for a reported attempt to pass counterfeit money. The suspect attempted to purchase gasoline and other items with a counterfeit twenty dollar bill. The cashier spotted the bill as being counterfeit and indicated to the suspect that it was fraudulent.
The suspect attempted to use another twenty dollar bill which was also found to be counterfeit. The suspect is described as a white male, 17 to 20 years old, 5 feet 5 inches tall and approximately 200 lbs. The suspect left in a burgundy colored car, no further description known.
