At 3: 17 p.m. Nov. 18, TFC S. Van Bennekum of the Leonardtown Barrack initiated a theft investigation.
The victim told police that while shopping a Michael’s Store, in California, she placed her purse and the hand basket on the floor while she looked at flowers.
When finished, she went to pick up her purse and saw that it was gone.
