The deadline to apply for more than 100 scholarships available through the College of Southern Maryland (CSM) Online Scholarship Finder is May 31. Scholarship categories include nursing, business, childcare, criminal justice, communications, fine arts, engineering, hospitality, social sciences, teacher education and nuclear engineering technology as well as general studies programs. In addition, students can apply for scholarships geared toward cancer survivors, returning adults and veterans.
“There is a tremendous amount of scholarship opportunities for incoming and current CSM students from a variety of different backgrounds,” said CSM Development Director Chelsea Brown. “The process is user-friendly and guides students directly to scholarships for which they are most eligible and allows them to apply for multiple scholarships with one unified application. Last year, the CSM Foundation awarded more than $300,000 in scholarships to help CSM students pursue and complete their degrees at the College of Southern Maryland.”
To use the online scholarship application system, applicants should register at http://www.csmd.edu/financial/scholarships/. Based on the information provided, the system will match applicants with scholarships available through the CSM Foundation.
