UPDATE: Elms Beach Waterfront Park has reopened after the grasses have been removed from the beach. Thank you for your patience during this time.
Operating hours are 8:00am – 8:00pm during the weekdays and weekend.
Park is staffed and admission is charged weekends and Holidays from the first Saturday in May through Labor Day. Per vehicle county resident fee is $7 and non-resident fee is $25.

LEONARDTOWN, Md. – The Department of Recreation and Parks announces that Elms Beach Park will be closed during the weekdays beginning Tuesday, July 20, 2021. The park’s closure is to remove grasses that have accumulated on the shoreline due to recent storms. Elms Beach Park will be open on weekends from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. for citizen enjoyment.
