Fatal Accident in Maryland

UPDATE – 11/24/2025 – Crash Victim Identified As 22-Year-Old Port Tobacco Man In Bryantown Fatal Accident

BRYANTOWN, Md. — A man died Saturday, Nov. 22, 2025, after a single-vehicle crash that left his car overturned in a wood line along Oliver Shop Road.

Firefighters were dispatched shortly after 7:30 p.m. to the area of Oliver Shop Road near Edelen Drive for a report of a person not breathing.

The wreck was located about 800 feet south of the intersection. When firefighters reached the scene, they reported an overturned vehicle in the woods with a single occupant and began CPR. Shortly after, EMS pronounced him dead on the scene.

Oliver Shop Road will be closed from Edelen Drive to Notre Dame Place for an extended period while firefighters and investigators work at the scene.
