No Injuries After Driver Strikes Utility Pole In Scotland

SCOTLAND, Md. – On September 18, 2024, at approximately 2:41 p.m., emergency personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident on Point Lookout Road in the area of Cornfield Harbor Road. 

Crews arrived and found a single vehicle off the roadway with airbags deployed after striking a utility pole. Despite injuries, the driver refused care on the scene.

Police continue to investigate the incident.

  1. Lots of poles getting in the way of drivers these days. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE! sounds dumb, I know…but it can’t be related to bad/ distracted drivers…
