On May 9, at 12:10 a.m., Trooper First Class Merkleson stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Route 260 at Nana Russell Road in Owings.
The driver, Rudolph Peets, Jr., 40 of Mitchellville, was arrested for DUI. A search revealed he was also in possession of PCP and Cocaine.
He was transported to the Calvert County Detention Center for processing.
