On October 27th undercover police officers, posing as street level dealers, sold a non-controlled substance portrayed as Crack Cocaine to buyers in Mechanicsville. The operation resulted in eighteen arrests. Among those arrested and charged with purchasing a non-controlled substance which was believed to be Crack Cocaine was 25 year old Victoria Berkshire, originally of Leonardtown.
Victoria Berkshire was formerly a government employee, who worked as secretary for the town of Leonardtown. She also represented Leonardtown as a member of Maryland’s Municipal Clerks Association. Berkshire’s termination from the town government was July 13th of last year. The town administrator was not available for comment today.
