The Magic of Watercolor

Pottery Basics

This comprehensive pottery class for beginners will encompass all things ceramic!  Begin by learning basic hand-building methods using slabs, coils, and pinch pots.  Then move to the potter’s wheel where you will learn basic wheel throwing techniques.  Apply finishing touches to your pieces by adding carvings, embellishments, and colorful glazes.  Each student leaves with a broad assortment of pottery.
 
 
ECO-ART: Recycled Rag Rugs
Sept. 26-27, 10am – 3pm

Learn to crochet a rag rug using items from your home.  Recycle tablecloths, sheets, clothes, and make new and artsy floor rugs, placemats, or chair cushions.  These aren’t your grandma’s rugs! Great for teens and adults who already know a basic crochet stitch.
