LA PLATA, Md. – On December 4, 2024, at approximately 4:07 p.m., officers responded to the area of Rosewick Road and Rosewick Crossing Place for the report of a vehicle collision.
Preliminary investigation revealed a 2016 Toyota Corolla was traveling east on Rosewick Road when it traveled over the concrete median strip and struck a 2020 Ford F-250 utility truck traveling west on Rosewick Road.
The driver of the Corolla, Anton Bronson, 60-years of age from Waldorf, Maryland, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The other driver was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
LPPD’s Collision Reconstruction Unit was assisted on scene by the Charles County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Operations Unit. The investigation is ongoing.
