On June 5, at 6:05 p.m., Tpr. C. Evans responded to the Wal-Mart Store in California for the reported theft under $100.
Upon arrival, contact was made with the Loss Prevention Officer who had detained a 13-year-old male of Lexington Park and a 17-year-old female fled on foot. The male suspect had attempted to steal three silicone I-Pod cases valued at $8.36. He was released at the scene to his mother. The female juvenile stole a bottle of Lip Gloss valued at $8.99.
Later, Tpr. Evans received a phone call from the father of the female suspect, reporting that his daughter had a stolen bottle of lip gloss in her possession. Tpr. C. Evans responded to their residence in California and she was also charged with theft Under $100 and released to her father. Petitions are being forwarded to Juvenile Services charging both juveniles with Theft Under $100.
