HOLLYWOOD, Md. – Shoppers got an unexpected surprise on Sunday when a flash mob showed up to dance in front of the seafood counter.
The spontaneous performance was organized by Lisa Martoni and her team of energized women, who pulled it off with confidence.

The idea for the flash mob came from Angie Wathen, owner of Potomac Gardens in Coltons Point, Maryland. Wathen had asked Martoni about doing a flash mob at Bradford’s Neighborhood Market, where she is friends with the owners. Martoni thought it would be a fun thing to do and decided to go for it.
Martoni, who owns Sweet Sweat Cardio, has a motto “Feel Good. Not Judged! Rock your Party Box!” She teaches line dancing at Potomac Gardens. So the flash mob was a perfect way to bring together her passion for dance and her desire to make people feel good.
Shoppers at the market were delighted by the unexpected performance. Some stopped to watch and even joined in on the fun. Many said they loved it and thought it was a great way to liven up their day.

The recent flash mob is the latest in a series of events organized by Martoni and her team. They are always on the lookout for new ways to spread joy and create fun experiences for people in Southern Maryland.
So be on the lookout for more flash mob dancing to show up unexpectedly at local businesses in the area. And remember to check out Sweet Sweat Cardio’s Facebook page for upcoming line dancing and other events. This feel-good story will surely put a smile on your face and remind you that sometimes the best things in life are unexpected.

Ha Ha, I’ll make sure I spiff up a little bit when I go shopping. $500.00 for a few groceries, I need a little encouragement. Great job.
That’s not how ‘THEY’ do it in Chicago or New York.
