CALIFORNIA, Md. – At approximately 12:47 p.m., firefighters responded to the BJ’s Wholesale Club at 44950 Worth Lane in the First Colony Shopping Center for the reported forklift fire.
BJ’S Wholesale Club is temporarily closed due to a forklift fire inside the building. Fire was out on arrival, however extensive ventilation was required. Evacuation of the building is underway. No injuries have been reported.
Use caution in the area, and stay alert for emergency vehicles.
