Friends of Ripple Seeks Participants for 4th Annual 5K Run/Walk for Fun

The Friends of Ripple, in coordination with the St. Mary’s Adult Medical Day Care, Inc. and St. Mary’s County Department of Aging & Human Services, will host the 4^th Annual 5K Run/Walk for Fun on Saturday, October 13, 2012. Registration will begin at 7:00 a.m. with the walk taking place at the Harry Lundeberg School of Seamanship, 45353 Saint George’s Avenue, Piney Point, Maryland.

Proceeds will benefit the St. Mary’s Adult Medical Day Care, Inc., a program designed to meet the health care and social needs of adults with physical or cognitive challenges.

The entry fee is $ 20.00 for pre-registration and $25.00 for race day registration. A discount is provided for families who sign up, $35.00 for a family of 3 or more (2 adults and children under 18). All ages and abilities are welcome! Awards will be given and t-shirts are provided for those who register before October 1, 2012.
