LEXINGTON PARK, Md. — Families in Southern Maryland will soon have a new destination for year-round fun, as Fun City Adventure Park has confirmed plans to open a trampoline park in Lexington Park.

A “Coming Soon” banner was recently posted at the former Peebles department store site in the St. Mary’s Square Shopping Center, signaling renovations are underway.

According to the company’s website, the new location will bring “the ultimate indoor fun for families, kids, and thrill-seekers” with wall-to-wall trampolines, foam pits, ninja warrior courses, climbing walls, and other adrenaline-fueled attractions.

The Lexington Park park will also serve as a venue for birthday parties and special events, offering an option local parents say has long been missing in the community. Fun City operates adventure parks nationwide and describes itself as one of the leading names in trampoline entertainment.

No opening date has been announced, but Fun City says its newest park will be the “go-to destination” for action-packed recreation in St. Mary’s County.

For now, residents can look forward to watching a once-vacant anchor space transform into a hub of family entertainment.

  1. Nope. I can already see how dirty it’ll be the first month, the location is unsafe too.

  2. Of all the places this could have went they chose the most crime ridden area. Why must everything go to Lexington park??

  3. To keep it fun, you need to have something at the door to check for guns that way, there is no violence there at all. If you don’t, the violence that has rolled into this city and has been taken over by we’ll actually take that over two and ruin it just like it’s ruined everything else.

  4. It’s about time they put in something for the kids. Last thing we need is another car dealership.

  5. I will be surprised if this is successful in the long run, solely based on its location. I suspect Very few folks want to go Lexington Park for their family entertainment.
