On May 4, 2011, Deputy Timothy Snyder responded to a motor vehicle accident on Satchel Page Way in Hollywood, Maryland. While investigating the collision, he detected alcohol on the person of one of the vehicle operators, Ronald Eugene Gordon Jr. 34 years old of Mechanicsville. Gordon was provided Standardized Field Sobriety Tests for which he performed poorly and was arrested. A search of Gordon’s vehicle incident to the arrest resulted in the discovery of suspected Marijuana in the drivers door. Ronald Gordon was arrested, charged with Possession of Marijuana and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. And released to the custody of the St. Mary’s County Detention Center pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
