St. Mary’s Deputy William Rishel responded to a call to a Lexington Park residence for the reported disturbance.
Once on the scene his investigation revealed that suspect Terrance Elum, 46 of Lexington Park, had threatened and held a knife to the throat of his wife.
He was arrested and charged with both First and Second Degree Assault.
