Coltons Point, Md.– Thursday evening, Sept. 3 a local family landed a huge surprise at Coltons Point.
The Brown family, with the help of many others including Travis Faunce, Matt Oliver,Michael Hearth, and Frankie Morris; wrestled with and landed an eight-foot bull shark.
The shark (pictured above) was caught at approximately 6:04 p.m., and was found dead in a pound net.
Murphy Brown, from Coltons Point, was very surprised about what they had stumbled on out on their fishing trip.
“It is very scary to think something like that is in our backyard [river], I was a surprised to see a shark that large come out of these water,” said Brown.
