LEONARDTOWN, Md. – On January 3, 2026 the Leonardtown Volunteer Fire Department held its 98th Annual Installation of Officers. During the evening several members were recognized for numerous achievements.
Our big awards for the night were presented to the following members:

- Firefighter of the Year – Aidan Wrightson
- Fire Chief’s Award – Tommy Mattingly, Jr
- President’s Award – George Kalnasy Jr
