Joshua C. Crandall-Gascon

Lexington Park, MD— A Lexington Park man has been charged through a summons with first-degree assault, and second-degree assaultย after an assaultย with a knife allegedlyย occurred at Great Mills Court.ย 

The victim stated she went to retrieve some keys for her friend,ย when the defendant identified asย Joshua C. Crandall-Gascon, of Lexington Park began to argue with her.

Charging documentsย indicate that “Crandall-Gascon pulled a knife on her (victim) in the parking lot of the residence.”ย 

The victim stated, “she was in fear of her life and was not sure whatย Crandall-Gascon was capable of,” according to charging documents.ย ย 

At this timeย Crandall-Gascon is being held on a $50,000 bond at the St. Mary’s County Detention Center.ย Crandall-Gascon faces a maximum jail sentence of 35 years and/or a maximum fine of $2,500.ย
