Calvert Library recognizes the challenges that come along with being a military family and salutes the sacrifices made.
Calvert Library Prince Frederick will Celebrate Military Families on Tuesday, November 10, 7-8:30 pm. Maryland Department of Veterans Affair Secretary George W. Owings, III will bring greetings. Representatives from other military organizations will be on hand to disseminate information and answer questions about available resources for veterans. Librarians, who are also veterans, will be sharing a variety of online resources.
Service-oriented entertainment will be provided by Vince and Vincent Turner, aka “Spam and Bubba.” First fifty arrivals will receive a free music CD! This will be a wonderful way to kick off your celebration of Veterans Day and to learn more about the resources available to military families.
