Troop 2053 from Hughesville, MD earned their Girl Scout Cadette Service to Girl Scouting bar. Hosting their Service Unit 10-4s December Swim with Santa event. The Cadettes spent countless hours planning, shopping and entertained approximately 80 registered Girl Scouts and 20 Adult Volunteers from their SU in Charles County. As part of the event the Charles County Dive & Rescue Team dressed as Santa posing for underwater photos with girls. In addition to underwater photos with Santa, girls wrote Letters to Santa, made Christmas ornaments, played Christmas “Minute to Win It” games and listen to Christmas music.
