Man Abducted From Baltimore Found Dead In Annapolis

ANNAPOLIS, Md. — The Annapolis Police Department is actively investigating a homicide that occurred in the 900 block of Spa Road.

On the morning of March 28, 2024, officers were dispatched to a wooded area in response to an unresponsive subject. Upon arrival, they discovered a deceased adult male.

The suspicious death, first reported as an unresponsive subject, has since been ruled a homicide by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. The victim has been identified as David Winchester, Jr., a 47-year-old man from Baltimore.

Through their ongoing investigation, Annapolis Police detectives have reason to believe that Winchester was abducted in Baltimore on the same day. Detectives are now coordinating with the Baltimore Police Department in their efforts to solve the case.
