Man Injured After Vehicle Collision At Shell Gas Station In Lexington Park

LEXINGTON PARK, Md. — On August 7, 2024, at approximately 11:26 a.m., emergency personnel responded to a pedestrian hit and run at the Shell gas station located at the intersection of Three Notch Road and Pegg Road.

Upon arrival, crews discovered that a driver had struck a vehicle positioned at the gas pumps, which in turn forced the victim into the gas pump, causing injury.

EMS evaluated the male patient at the scene and subsequently transported him to MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital for further care.

Reports indicate that a black female driver of a light gold Jeep Compass collided with a pole at pump 5 and, in an attempt to back away, struck the van shown in the photo above and fled the scene.

  2. No security camera footage of the ‘alleged’ offending vehicle? Citizens wanna help.
