On June 14, Deputy T. Reese responded to a residence on Breton View Drive, Leonardtown for the report of an assault.
Investigation revealed Christopher L. Firestein, age 36. of Leonardtown was involved in an altercation with his former girlfriend.
Firestein allegedly scratched the woman’s chest, pulled portions of her hair out, and then choked her during the fight.
Firestein, who was intoxicated, was placed under arrest without incident, transported to the Detention Center, charged with Assault First Degree and Assault Second Degree and incarcerated pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
