WALDORF, Md. – A man was critically injured Monday afternoon following a shooting on October Place near Post Office Road.
Charles County authorities responded shortly after 4 p.m. on April 14, 2025, after a 911 caller reported gunfire in the area. First responders arrived to find an adult male with multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body, drifting in and out of consciousness.
Due to the severity of the victim’s injuries, EMS requested a medevac. The victim was transported to a nearby trauma center for emergency care.
No description of the suspect or suspects has been released at this time.
