On May 26 at 8:42 p.m. Dep. M. Trigg observed a vehicle parked in the White Sands community center parking lot on Sycamore Road in Lusby.ย

He saw an occupant in the driver seat asleep and tapped on the window.ย  The man eventually awoke and when questioned, said he had been tired and wanted to sleep but would leave now and go home.ย

Trigg advised the man, identified as Robert A. Silberstein, 30, of Prince Frederick, that his movements and speech were sluggish and he needed to administer a field sobriety test on him before he would allow him to drive.ย

Silberstein was then found to be in possession of suspected drugs.ย  He was arrested and charged with two counts of CDS possession; Oxycodone and Alprazolam and possession of drug paraphernalia; a bottle.
