A man was flown by helicopter from Lexington Park to Prince Georges Hospital on Saturday night, after apparently receiving injuries in a fight.
Police and the Lexington Park Volunteer Rescue responded to a reported assault near the Days Inn hotel after a witness called 911.
Police made contact with the injured man shortly before 11:30 p.m., and reported he had a gash above the right eye. More than a half hour later, Maryland State Police helicopter Trooper 7 was dispatched to transport the man.
