man stabbed

Update Nov. 15 2:15 p.m. 

Lexington Park, MD— On Sunday, November 13, 2016, at approximately 12:46 am, St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to Krystal Lane in Lexington Park for a reported stabbing. 

Upon arrival deputies located a 22-year-old male suffering from a stab wound to the upper torso which he received during an assault.  The victim was transported to an area trauma center for treatment and the suspect, described as a heavy-set Hispanic male, fled prior to police arrival. 

The Criminal Investigation Division is continuing the investigation. Lexington Park, MD – Nov.13, 12:30 am. —  Shortly after midnight police and EMS were dispatched to a residence on Krystal Lane in Lord Calvert for a victim suffering from injuries from an assault. Upon arrival it was determined the male subject was stabbed and would require treatment at a trauma center.

Police remained on the scene investigating.
