Make a date with Annmarie to enjoy a casual adult evening of great art, wine & beer, light hors d’oeuvres by Dream Weaver Events & Catering, and live music by Chad Jones. Visit the Gift Shop for special Annmarie After Hours sales!  Stop by Annmarie before or after dinner and make it a night on the town. No reservations required!  Free for members; $5 for non-members. Tea at the Garden; Wednesday, March 22; Noon-1:30 p.m.
Annmarie Sculpture Garden & Arts Center, Solomons, Maryland hosts an afternoon tea in the Murray Arts Building at Annmarie. Guests will be surrounded by the beauty of the Garden and spectacular artwork on exhibit in our galleries. Learn about the history of teas and the part they play in our society. Our tea display will feature an assortment of specialty teas along with delicious homemade scones, tea cookies, and pastries. Full STEAM Ahead “Baffling Biomimicry” – Sunday, March 12; 1:00-4:00pm
Annmarie Sculpture Garden & Arts Center, Solomons, Maryland invites preschool children and their caretakers to visit the artLAB for hands-on investigations and challenges! This FREE program is designed to help children explore, observe, ask questions, and make predictions as they create and play! Eco-Explorations “Salamanders” – Friday, March 31; 10:00-11:00am
Annmarie Sculpture Garden & Arts Center, Solomons, Maryland invites families to come along on an eco-exploration. Staff naturalist, Hester Burch, will lead youngsters and their caregivers on a hands-on exploration of the natural world of Annmarie Garden. This session is all about Salamanders. Families are also invited to bring in their own natural treasures to share for show & tell. An affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution, Annmarie Garden is located in scenic Solomons, Maryland, on the Chesapeake Bay. The sculpture garden features a walking path that meanders through the forest past permanent and loaned sculpture, including more than 35 works of art on loan from the Smithsonian Institution and the National Gallery of Art. From Washington DC (about a 60 minute drive): take Route 4 South to Capital Beltway Exit 11 (to Prince Frederick). Continue on 4 South, following signs to Solomons. Left on Dowell Road at Hilton Garden Inn.  Annmarie is less than 1/4 mile on left.  From Baltimore (Beltway I-695):  take I-97 (Annapolis) to Route 301 South (Bowie). Continue on 301 to Route 4 and follow signs to Solomons. Left on Dowell Road at Hilton Garden Inn.  Annmarie is less than 1/4 mile on left.  From Annapolis: follow Route 2 South towards Prince Frederick/Solomons. Left (South) onto Route 2/4 at Sunderland light. Left on Dowell Road at Hilton Garden Inn.  Annmarie is less than 1/4 mile on left.
