POMFRET, Md. – McDonough High School Drama will bring a whimsical take on Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory to the stage, inviting audiences into the fantastical world of Willy Wonka’s famous chocolate factory. The performances run from Nov. 8-10, with showtimes at 7:00 p.m. on Nov. 8 and 9, and 2:00 p.m. on Nov. 9 and 10.

The classic tale follows young Charlie Bucket and four other children who find golden tickets inside Wonka chocolate bars, granting them an exclusive tour of the mysterious factory. As the tour progresses, each child falls victim to their own flaws, leading to unexpected and transformative consequences. McDonough’s production promises an engaging, moral story set in a candy-colored world of wonder and imagination.
