Longtime BAY-CSS employee, Michelle Tilman, M.A. has been promoted to Quality Assurance Director for the full-service agency that provides vital support services for people with disabilities in Maryland.

Bay Community Support Services, Inc., a full-service agency that provides quality support services to people with disabilities in Maryland, is proud to announce the recent promotion of Michelle Tilman, M.A. to Quality Assurance Director.

Michelle, a valued employee of BAY-CSS for over 10 years, started her career with BAY-CSS as a Residential Coordinator, and received her first promotion to Community Developer in August 2005. In January 2009, she was also appointed as the agency’s Quality Assurance Manager.

In her dual role as Community Developer and Quality Assurance Manager, Michelle has worked diligently to ensure a high level of standard and conduct for the agency’s programs and services by performing regular inspections of the agency’s residential group homes, investigations of allegations, and has worked closely with others in the agency to ensure that both the staff and clients are using safe practices in the work place. 

Before joining BAY-CSS, Michelle earned a Master’s in Counseling Psychology and worked at St. Joseph Medical Center as a Nursing Assistant for the Center for Eating Disorders and General Psychiatry unit for 4 years.

She’s definitely earned a leadership role with Bay Community Support Services; having worked for us in a variety of management positions for the past ten years. Michelle goes above and beyond to help change the lives of people with disabilities and that’s just what we’re looking for in our leaders.”
