Employee Code 1: St. Mary’s County Public Schools have a delayed opening of two hours. Ten and eleven-month employees report to work two hours late. Twelve-month employees report to work up to two hours late but no later than 9:20 a.m. Food service workers are to report to work no later than 9:00 a.m. All employees normally beginning their day after 9:20 a.m. are to report to work on time. *Designated emergency personnel will report to work on time.

Calvert County Public Schools Opening 2 Hours Late (Code 1 for 12-Month Employees)

  • School opening will be delayed 2 hours due to inclement weather. No AM Pre-Kindergarten.
  • The workday for 10 and 11-month employees will begin 30 minutes before the scheduled student starting time.
  • 12-month personnel report up to 1 hour late (Code 1).
  • All emergency personnel report on time.
  • Food service workers report on time.

Charles County Public Schools

Due to inclement weather conditions, all Charles County Public Schools will open two-hours late today, Monday, Dec. 9, 2013. There is a code two, which is a two-hour delay, for staff who follow the code system.
