Months-Long Calvert County Drug Investigation Leads To Guns And Narcotics Seizure

PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. — A Prince Frederick man is being held without bond after Calvert County investigators say a drug investigation led to the discovery of narcotics, ammunition and multiple firearms at two homes searched on Nov. 12, 2025.

Trevon Charles Brooks, 33, is charged in Calvert County District Court with multiple felony drug and gun offenses, including distribution of narcotics, possession with intent to distribute, CDS–possession of firearms, firearm–drug trafficking and possession of firearms by a convicted felon. He also faces misdemeanor counts of drug possession not involving cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia, illegal possession of a regulated firearm and illegal possession of ammunition.

Members of the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office Drug Enforcement Unit and the agency’s Special Operations Team executed a search and seizure warrant at 2425 Hallowing Point Road in Prince Frederick. A separate warrant at 8469 Pine Boulevard in St. Leonard was carried out by members of the Drug Enforcement Unit and agents with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the documents state.

At the Hallowing Point Road address, deputies reported finding a .22-caliber rifle and a loaded .22-caliber magazine in one bedroom, along with a box of .22-caliber ammunition on a bed in another room. A camouflage backpack in that second room allegedly contained two loaded magazines, a loaded .22-caliber Walther handgun and prescription pill bottles labeled with Brooks’ name. Investigators also documented a plastic tear-off located behind a couch and two digital scales with white powder residue elsewhere in the home, and reported recovering suspected crack cocaine and other controlled substances along with packaging materials.

At the Pine Boulevard property, investigators reported seizing two green Remington 12-gauge shotgun shells from the living room, a black Optima rifle from a back bedroom and a camouflage Thompson Center Arms .50-caliber rifle with an optic from the same room. A green backpack in a shed contained a rifle handguard with a grip and 13 baggies holding various-sized colored caps, the documents state.

A prohibited-person check through the Maryland Gun Center showed Brooks is barred from possessing firearms or ammunition because of prior convictions for a crime of violence and a disqualifying felony offense, investigators wrote. He was arrested after the searches and formally charged the same day.

Brooks appeared in Calvert District Court on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2025, for a bail review, where Judge Michelle R. Saunders ordered him held without bond, court records show. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Dec. 12, 2025, in Courtroom 1 of the Calvert District Court.
