Maryland homeowners and renters in southern Maryland who may be at risk of foreclosure will be able to get valuable information and access helpful resources at the “Mortgage Late? Don’t Wait!” Foreclosure Prevention Workshop on November 9 in La Plata. Loan servicers, non-profit pro bono attorneys and housing counseling agencies will be on hand to assist consumers and meet with homeowners to work on possible solutions to help them stay in their home.
The workshop is jointly sponsored by the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development and Charles County government and is free and open to the public.
