UPDATE 4:02 pm – The patient has been loaded onto the helicopter and is en route to a trauma center.
UPDATE 3:41 pm – The patient has been transported to the landing zone awaiting the helicopter.
UPDATE 3:37 pm – The collision was caused by a malfunction in the accelerator of the motorcycle. As the motorcycle operator went to make a turn, he lost control which caused him to crash.
UPDATE 3:32 pm – Sources are reporting that a helicopter for medical evaluation has been requested.
Lexington Park, MD (3:19 pm) – A single-vehicle motorcycle accident has been reported on Three Notch Road and Forest Park Road.
