NAVAL AIR STATION PATUXENT RIVER, Md. — Naval Air Station Patuxent River’s Gate 1 will be temporarily closed this weekend for maintenance, base officials announced. The closure will begin at 6 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, and last through 6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 23.
During the shutdown, all inbound and outbound traffic will be redirected to Gate 2, which will remain open to accommodate personnel, residents, and visitors. Base officials advise drivers to plan accordingly and allow extra time for potential delays.
