Brandywine, MD —– Greater Baden Medical Services, Inc., Southern Maryland’s Federally Qualified Health Center, joins in the celebration of the 31st National Health Center Week. Each year the National Association for Community Health Centers (NACHC), designates the second week of August as National Health Center Week.
Early on health centers, as part of NACHC, recognized the benefits of joining together in a week of celebration to showcase their programs and deliver a strong message nationwide for their health centers and patients.” This year we will again celebrate our patients who have chosen GBMS as their medical home, as well as pay tribute to our dedicated staff & providers.” Colenthia Malloy, CEO.
GBMS Board Members and Executive Leaders will join staff & providers in their facilities on August 10 to launch the week’s activities. The celebration is supported by partners in the MCO community including Amerigroup and United Health Care who contributed gift items for patients.
During the week of August 10-15, scheduled patients at GBMS’ seven health centers/WIC/dental locations will receive small gifts while supplies last.
