CALIFORNIA, Md. — LUX Sports Bar & Grill held a soft opening Dec. 19 at 22576 MacArthur Blvd., Suite 314, in California, marking the debut of what owners describe as an upscale sports bar and dining destination for Southern Maryland.
VIP tickets for the soft opening sold out, and beginning this weekend LUX Sports Bar & Grill will be open to the public with reduced capacity as it continues to fine-tune operations and prepare for full service. Seating will be limited, and early arrival is recommended.
Public hours during the soft opening period include Friday service after 8 p.m.; Saturday from noon until midnight; Sunday from noon until 10 p.m.; and Monday from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. The establishment is located in the San Souci Plaza.
LUX Sports Bar & Grill positions itself as a destination for food, drinks, sports and atmosphere, combining craft cocktails, elevated bar fare and wall-to-wall sports in a sleek lounge environment.
On Facebook, Owners thanked the community for the strong interest reflected in the sold-out VIP opening and said the soft launch is “just the beginning” of what they hope will become a new dining and entertainment destination in the California area.
